Anyone who follows us on Instagram has noticed that we were out and about in Mühlheim last weekend to photograph the new Nike Space Hippie and a few other models.
A short fun fact in advance: I was actually supposed to be in the pictures too, but then on the footpath to the site I fell on my face so badly that I was super dirty and, with a broken ankle, was also extremely battered.
What does a sneaker blogger like me do then? Not much actually, because I then styled Leon with ACG pants and the PLEASURES long-sleeved shirt, sat in the sun and let them do their thing. Mario and I trust each other blindly when it comes to things like that. That's all right.
In fact, the result that was achieved is really worth seeing (there was no other way!?), because although I own a space hippie myself, it's something different when strangers or even friends wear certain models or silhouettes. In our circle of friends we have often discussed the Nike Space Hippie, but no one has really dared to approach the model so far. So it was good that we have now successfully dealt with the silhouette from 2020, because I haven't had my pair on my feet yet either. Can be seen, or do you not think so?
Leon is wearing a US 12 in the pictures, which even fitted me with my US 11.5. In my opinion, you can wear both sizes without hesitation.
A little hint from us regarding the styling:
The Nike Space Hippie is quite techy, so jogger pants or similar trousers with a waistband are particularly suitable. We wouldn't recommend a baggy with the shoe because the narrow silhouette would simply sink under the pants and only the sole would be visible.
Another positive aspect is of course the recycled material that Nike has reused for the shoe. But you should get detailed information directly from Nike . We don't want to bore you with that.
Here are the rest of the pictures from Sunday. More pictures from the shoot will follow soon!
